Nadia has come to Kaci to encourage efficiency.

Bold and edgy, like her hairstyle, Nadia has come to Kaci to encourage efficiency, streamline processes and create a culture where everyone thrives. As the Chief Growth Officer, she brings with her 25 years of experience in non-profit leadership, from founding an inner-city youth ministry to running a global fellowship program that trained and equipped emerging leaders to launch non-profit organizations around the world. Nadia’s passion is to introduce change and tension into a system to encourage growth and development in people and organizations.

Nadia enjoys the flexibility of working remotely with the Kaci team and the opportunities to engage with various organizations doing good work - globally.

Her advice to a candidate who wants to join our team of superstars?  “Be ready to jump in the deep end and swim!”

In another life, Nadia is pretty sure she was a hermit, and the most unusual thing in her office is a Framed Wendell Berry print of the Farmers’ Manifesto. She loves her family, a good discussion, a mug of coffee and a well-written book.

When not working, Nadia enjoys growing food, playing basketball, travelling, hanging out with family and drinking good coffee. “Dark roast, please!” she says.

Her values are honesty, community, family and faith, and she sees the world in patterns, potential, relationships and connections.

If she won the lottery tomorrow, Nadia would buy a piece of land and start a creative collective with gardens and orchards and invite others to share the space with their endeavours like woodworking, pottery, life & art therapy, spiritual direction etc. “I have a talented partner and friends!” she said.

The best piece of advice she's ever been given is, “There are expectations and realities in life; the space between the two is PAIN. Your job is to manage the difference between the two as a leader.”

Finally, Nadia’s favourite quote (paraphrased) is, “In leadership, you need a strong back, soft front and a wild heart” - Brene Brown.

I can practically see that wild heart beating as she drives off in her black Jeep Wrangler with Sophie, the old, over-anxious beagle mix rescue dog, in the back seat.  “No mama minivan for me!” she exclaims.
